Traci is survived by her daughter: Alexah Garrison of Lafayette. She loved being with friends, where she was often the center of attention and left her mark on this world. She loved riding her Harley, her sparkly cowboy boots and her extended family. Her greatest passion was her daughter Lexi and her two grandsons, Ryker and Truett and nephew Gage. Traci graduated from Carroll High School with the class of 1990 and attended Indiana State University. Traci’s work life was at Riley Children’s Hospital, Manager at Sunglass Hut, realtor in Lafayette area and she owned her own cleaning business and served several clients that she loved. Traci was born in Lafayette on April 22, 1972, to Ted and Jackie Mann Garrison. Traci Michelle Garrison, 51, of Lafayette and Flora, entered heaven to celebrate her arrival with her dad, Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Franciscan East Hospital in Lafayette. Memorial contributions may be made in Joel’s memory to charity of choice. His brothers Richard and Terry will lead the celebration. ![]() A Celebration of Joel’s Life will start at 1:00pm. at Wheeler Family Funeral Home-Baker Chapel, 204 S Center Street, Flora, IN 46929. The Voorhees Family invite friends to visit Saturday, April 14, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm. He is preceded by his father Charles, brother Donald and sister Dale. Five brothers: Richard and Nancy Voorhees of Bringhurst, Terry and Lynn Voorhees of Fishers, Jimmy and Sue Voorhees of West Lafayette, Joseph and Julie Voorhees of Illinois and Michael and Lisa Voorhees of Burlington. Three sisters: Donna A Voorhees of Florida, Charlene and Brian Keeling of Attica, Regina and Andy Clouse of Hillsboro, IN. Joel is survived by his mother: Ruth Voorhees of Flora. Joel enjoyed fishing, playing video games and going to air shows. He attended Carroll Schools and was a former member of the First Brethren Church in Flora. In his younger years he worked for his brother Terry and Dale McIlrath in the chicken business clean up. Joel retired from Brim Concrete in production, working there since 1989. Joel was born on December 11, 1958, in Logansport, IN to Charles L and Ruth Hollis Voorhees. Voorhees, 65, of Flora, died unexpectedly at his home Monday, April 8, 2024. Numerous Union soldiers who died in the Battle of Perryville are interred there.Joel F. ![]() Two donations of land in the 1980s expanded the cemetery to its current size.Ī 2.8 acres (1.1 ha) portion of the cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, as Lebanon National Cemetery. It was designated a National Cemetery in 1867.
